According to Capcom-Unity, the tri-crossover game Project X Zone will be getting an English localization release for the west sometime this year.
Only the text will be translated, while the various sound bytes during combat will be left in Japanese.
The hybrid strategy/fighting game features over 200 characters from various franchises owned by Sega, Namco and Capcom, such as Street Fighter, Virtua Fighter, Xenosaga, Tekken, and even Sanger Zonvolt from Super Robot Wars OG.
This does give a glimmer of hope for those like myself, hoping to get a localized version of Super Robot Wars Original Generations 2, but it’s also worth noting that it was the producer of the Tekken series, Katsuhiro Harada himself that pushed for the localization of the project.
